Many residents of Volusia County, Florida are in dire need of food, clothing and shelter. With an unemployment rate of nearly 13-percent, Floridians in this central eastern county are struggling to stay afloat.

Volusia County consists of 20 cities and towns including: Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, South Daytona, Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach, Ormond Beach, Holly Hill, Port Orange, Oak Hill, DeBary, Deleon Springs, Orange City, Enterprise, Barberville, Pierson, Seville, Lake Helen, Deltona, Deland, and Ponce Inlet.
